Extending the Shape class

I know that there are already some available shapes such as PlaneShape and SphereShape, but how can I implement for example icospheres?
I saw on GitHub that the built-in shapes inherit the Shape base class in C++, and then define the vertices of the shape, etc.
(SphereShape example)
Is it possible to do the same thing in GDScript?
