AlexGodotForumAlexGodotForum Posts: 2Member

Hello!
I download unofficial 3.1 and make simple scene with RigidBody. I move RigidBody on terrain with translate (Vector3).
And i download 2.1.5 Stable and make simple scene with RigidBody.
Physycs settitngs is default.
In 3.1 i see jitter RigidBody, in 2.1.5 moving is smooth and good
3.1

2.1.5

Projects added.

Is is bug in Godot3 Rigidbody physycs?

How to smooth moving RigidBody on terrain in Godot 3?

Unofficial 3.1. meaning what exactly? You should probably go back to the latest official release, which is 3.0.6 IIRC.

you don't move RigidBody like that. You apply impulses and forces. Or use KinematicBody.

    Thank you!
    With add_force moving is good!
I used translate for RigidBody in Godot2 and is working good for constant linear speed, but in Godot 3 this "trick" not work!

Don't forget to switch the physics engine over to 'Bullet', the old physics engine is deprecated.
